~ Sea Escape ~

This baby of mine has actually been completed for a short time now, but with all the surfboards/patterns, she hasn't had a proper photo shoot.

I have found that it's quite difficult to get the silvery shimmer on the water ... on film.

But trust me ... there's a lot of shimmer going on here.

Which extends down to the froth and the foam.

And the sand.

The stars simply lie on the sand.
This wall hanging is 25" wide x 36" long just like the others.

I can't decide whether or not to go with another seascape next, or one of the other things on that very long list in my head.
A great many lists have been made on paper, but the one in my head seems to always take precedence.

I love the Sea.
Can ya tell?

~ Sunshine in Winter ~

The weather is about to turn cold again, even here in Southern Cal ... but no worries ... I have decided to do something about it.

This week I am offering this bright and happy sunburst quilt for sale on my Etsy Shop.
This is a classic New York Beauty pattern and the intricate points and curved seams make it a special find indeed.

I dare you to feel gloomy.

As in prior weeks, I am putting this piece of quilted art  for sale ... here ... and then I am putting the pattern for this same quilt on sale ... here ... for 50% offThis week only.

Fear the clouds no longer, people.

The sun can shine every single day now!

~ A Glorious Easter Weekend ~

I woke up this morning to the most beautiful sun coming through my windows.

If you think that there is only one season in Southern California, you are wrong.

Today ... I inhaled some Spring!

I felt giddy.

I put out these guys this morning, even though Easter is just two days away.  I won't bother you with the excuses, except to say that I really didn't feel the need until this morning.

I will have young ones here for Easter Dinner and they will want to play with these toys.

And I won't care.

I hope you  feel Spring-y and can smell egg-dye in the air.

I wish you all a glorious celebration of a glorious day!
